Day 2: Departure for the city tour. The first stop is at Keraton, the Royal Palace compound of the Sultans of Yogyakarta. For residents of Yogyakarta, the Kraton has been the cultural (and mystical) heart and soul of the city since the mid-1700s. The tour continues to the Sonobudoyo Museum with its Java's rich artistic heritage, a batik workshop to see the intricate processing of these fabrics and Kota Gede, a centre of fine Javanese silver works. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant. In the afternoon, head to the mighty temple of Borobudur, 40 km from Yogyakarta. The age of the temple is uncertain, but the date of construction would have been between the end of the 7th and the beginning of the 8th century AD, during the Sailendra dynasty. Built as a single large stupa, viewed from above, the temple takes the form of a giant Tantric Buddhist mandala, simultaneously representing Buddhist cosmology and the nature of mind. The last visits are to the Candi Mendut temple, with its three-meter Buddha statue, and to the Candi Pawon temple. Return to the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Yogyakarta.

Day 3: In the morning, visit the traditional Batik workshop in Imogiri, to see how the work is processed and you will experience some practice in Batik making. Later after the batik workshop, you will attend the cooking class. The chef will teach you how to make traditional Indonesian cuisine and explain the spices that Indonesians use to prepare the dish. After the cooking class, you will have lunch with the food you have cooked. Next, head to the 9th century Prambanan temple complex, about 17 km from Yogyakarta, among lush green rice fields and beautiful countryside. The largest and tallest temple in this complex, covered with reliefs from the Ramayana story, is considered the most elegant and beautiful temple in Java. It has eight shrines, of which the three main ones are dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma. A visit will also be made to Candi Sewu, Candi Plaosan and Candi Kalasan temples. After the visit, we will enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset. Overnight at hotel in Yogyakarta.

Located on the southern slope of the sacred Mount Agung, we will ascend to the highest part of the temple complex, which has more than eighty individual temples, and admire the vast landscape of rice fields, lush forest and the endless view of the ocean. The Besakih temple is located 900 meters above sea level and has been considered a holy place since prehistoric times in Bali. The complex is accessible by a long staircase surrounded by vegetation. Lunch will be served at Bale Udang restaurant. At the end we will have a short trek to Tjampuhan Ridge.
