Itinerary

Day 1: Upon arrival at hotel, check in and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.


Day 2: At 4pm, meet up with our English speaking guide at hotel lobby and head to the civic district area where one can gazed at the scenic view of Grand Padang, Cricket Club, historic Parliament House, Supreme Court and City Hall. We will walk by Saint Andrew’s Cathedral, a chose site for a church by Sir Raffles in 1823 and visit Chijmes - it stands for the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus. Up until 1983, it used to be a convent run by French nuns and a Roman Catholic school for girls. Today, it has been turned into an outdoor dining outlet while upholding its historical architecture. A short stroll to a local night market, rich with local handicrafts and various choice of local food stalls in Bugis Street. One of the best areas to bargain for souvenirs. We will also walk to Kampong Glam, one of the Lion City’s cultural enclaves, mainly known for being the settlement area for the country’s early Muslim immigrants. The Sultan Mosque marks the center of this district that creates a calming effect. Our guide will walk us through Haji Lane, with its many shops, graffiti-covered walls and cafés. We will take a short underground train ride to Tanjong Pagar and visit the most famous residential building in Singapore. The Pinnacle at Duxton is a 50-storey residential development in Singapore's city centre which is the world's tallest public residential buildings. Enjoy the view of the entire island of Singapore from the 50th storey Skybridge that house 500 meter long sky garden.

Just a few blocks away lies Potato Head rooftop bar, where we will have an evening cocktail before we proceed for a walk along the alley of Duxton Hill. The tour ends here and one may continue to one of the several restaurant in the area for dinner.
