Update: Orang Utan Island Closure at Tasik Bukit Merah

As of now, the water level remains very low and there has been no significant improvement due to minimal rainfall over the past few weeks. Based on the current conditions, we anticipate that the water level may start to improve between mid to end of August.

Orang Utan Island therefore remains temporarily closed for safety reasons. Visitors are also reminded that the island is usually closed every Tuesday as part of its regular schedule.

For guests with this visit included in their itinerary in the coming days, alternative programs will be proposed by our team.
