All climbers must now be accompanied by certified guides, present a valid health certificate and proof of insurance, and attend a mandatory safety briefing before starting the trek.A guide-to-climber ratio of 1:5 and porter allocation of 1 per 2–3 climbers are now enforced to ensure a safer and more responsible climbing experience.
