Batik Air has announced the launch of daily flights from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang (SZB) to:
Bangkok (Don Mueang International Airport, DMK) – the airline’s first international route from Subang.
Kuching (KCH) – enhancing domestic connectivity between Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak.
These new services, starting 28 July 2025, are part of Batik Air’s strategy to strengthen Subang as a convenient city airport for leisure, business, and MICE travel.
Subang’s Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (SZB) is located about 23 km from Kuala Lumpur city centre, giving tourists and locals a handy alternative to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), which is located about 70 km from the city.
The additional connections are expected to benefit FIT travellers, leisure groups, and corporate events, providing faster access and more flexible travel options.
