Update on Komodo National Park Entry Regulations

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to inform you that, with immediate effect, the Komodo National Park Authority has introduced new regulations for visitors (click here for the official notification).

Key Highlights of the Regulation

• Regulation full enforcement starting from 1st April 2026

• Advance Ticket Purchase: Entrance tickets must be purchased in advance through SiOra Mobile Application, as the park now operates under a limited daily visitor capacity of approximately 1,000 visitors per day.

• Non-Refundable Tickets: Once issued, entrance tickets are strictly irrevocable & non-refundable, in line with the park’s ticketing policy.

• To prevent crowding, the daily visitor limit is divided into three time sessions:

  • Session 1: 05:00–08:00

  • Session 2: 08:00–11:00

  • Session 3: 15:00–18:00

• Each session will accommodate around 330 visitors, ensuring that only a few hundred people are inside the park at any given time.

• Between 11:00 and 15:00, no new entries are permitted, allowing rangers and the park itself a much-needed operational break.

Additional Notes:

• Access to specific sites and visiting times is managed directly by the park authority and may vary depending on operational conditions and daily capacity.

• Due to the limited daily visitor capacity, we strongly recommend placing bookings at the earliest convenience to improve the likelihood of securing availability.

• Detailed and updated information will be provided by our reservation team timely, upon booking process.
