RESTAURANT DIVISION
:: (www.lotus-restaurants.com) |
Lotus Restaurants
are by now synonymous with excellent cuisine, superb service, and
a charming and unique atmosphere. This division manages nine restaurants,
with the tenth restaurant to be opened in Singapore and the eleventh
in Kuala Lumpur in the near future.
All restaurants have distinct characteristics, yet there is a common
theme that can be found in the enchanting lotus ponds, impressive
Javanese portals, authentic Asian antiques and great attention to
detail.
The restaurants in Bali offer an exciting mix of Indonesian and Balinese
cuisine plus a large selection of international favorites with a strong
base of Italian cuisine. This formula has proven to be a great success
as it satisfies the different requirements and tastes of many nationalities. Each
restaurant has a different menu to avoid restaurant chains monotony.

The restaurants in Bali are:
1. CAFE LOTUS on Ubud's main street (170
seats)
2. LOTUS POND on Sanur's main street (140
seats)
3. LOTUS TAVERN in Kuta - Tuban (120 seats)
4. LOTUS LANE on Ubud's Monkey Forest
Road (120 seats)
5. LOTUS SEAVIEW on the Candi Dasa waterfront
(100 seats)
6. LOTUS GARDEN at the entrance to the

In March 1997 Lotus Enterprises'
Restaurant Division developed its first unit abroad.
CAFE LOTUS at Clarke Quay, Singapore River (160 seats)is under the
management of Mr. Ezio Barbero, a professional chef with 15 years
experience in several countries around the world. The restaurant became
an instant success and carried the Lotus concept to its maximum by
offering well-known dishes from 23 different countries.
This success has prompted the developer, Clarke Quay Management, to
offer us another large restaurant that was managed directly by the
developer. This consists of two large Chinese junks floating on the
Singapore River at Clarke Quay, plus a large area on the quays. The
restaurant, opened in mid-March 2000, has been totally renovated and
is now named LOTUS ON THE RIVER (150 seats).
As both restaurants in Singapore are constantly fully booked, Lotus
Restaurant Division plans to open a third restaurant soon, followed
by restaurants in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and other Asian capitals. |
In August 2000 we opened our
first restaurant in Lombok, a neighbouring island of Bali.
LOTUS BAYVIEW, on right on Sengiggi Beach
(80 seats), 10 meters away from the water and enjoys spectacular sunsets.
