:: HOTEL DIVISION ::

Lotus Hotel Internationalis a fully owned private limited company established in Hong Kong in 1982 and now registered in Indonesia. It was formally known as KERATON HOTELS INTERNATIONAL.

The company, either operating under its own name or directly under the name of the owner, has been responsible for several remarkable successes:

1.	The upgrading and management of the TANJUNG SARI HOTEL (1977-1980). Turnover increased by 250%, profits increased by 400%
2.	The development of the NUSA DUA HOTEL COMPLEX as World Bank's Management Advisor to the Indonesian Government (1980-1983).
3.	The upgrading and management of the HOTEL CLUB BUALU in Nusa Dua (1983 - 1990), highly profitable, with GOP reaching 55% of turnover.
4.	The development (as 25% owner) of the now famous AMANDARI HOTEL in Ubud (1990)

All hotel interests have been sold in 1990 when the company changed its name to Lotus Enterprises and started its development process in various fields.

In July 1998, Lotus Enterprises went back into the hotel business by acquiring a charming beachfront small bungalow hotel in Candidasa, east of Bali. The hotel has been totally renovated to upgrade its facilities to meet Lotus Enterprises standards and it is now called LOTUS BUNGALOWS. In autumn 1999, the hotel has acquired another small property next to it, which has also been renovated.

The hotel Division is now in the process of acquiring the totality of an outstanding 10 hectars peninsula in Lombok that will be developed in up to 3 market hotels and a central recreational area. The first two pieces have already been bought.
