Arrival Yangon |

Arrival at the international airport in Yangon. Meet
with the guide, transfer and lunch at htl restaurant.
Afternoon: h/d panoramic tour of Yangon. Visit the old
city where old style Victorian houses mix with new buildings,
and Buddhist pagodas with mosques, churches and Chinese
temples. Visit the riverfront and Chinatown. First glimpse
of the magnificent Shwedagon pagoda, like a glittering
bell, 98 m. High, covered with 60 tons of gold. Dinner
with show at local restaurant. O/n in Yangon.

Day
2
|
Bagan |
| |
Trsf to apt. Flight to Bagan, the most scenic and historically
important site in Myanmar. This enchanting city is situated
on the river bank of the Ayeyarwaddy river. The archaeological
zone, rich of well preserved temples and pagodas, covers
an area of 42 square km. F/d tour of Bagan, including:
the colorful Nyaungoo market, the famous Shwezigon pagoda,
whose bell-shape graceful stupa became the prototype
for all the next pagodas, Kyanzittha Umin temple built
as a tunnel, Gubyaukgyi temple in Indian style, and
Htilominlo temple (46 m high, with well-preserved frescoes
inside). Lunch at local restaurant on the bank of the
Ayeyarwaddy river. Afternoon visit of a laboratory of
the famous lacquer ware, then the beautiful Ananda temple
(a masterpiece of the Mon architecture), Manuha temple
(with 5 gigantic Buddha inside) and Nampaya temple.
Wonderful sunset from the top of one pagoda. Dinner
at local restaurant with puppets show. O/n in Bagan.

|
Mandalay |
| |
Trsf to apt. Flight to Mandalay, Myanmar second largest
city, major center for Buddhist learning, and cultural
heart of the nation. It's landscape is dominated by
hundreds of pagodas. F/d tour including: the old town
Amarapura (the immortal), Mahagandayon monastery where
more than 700 monks are living, U Bein's bridge, the
longest teak bridge in the world (1,200 m) panoramic
view over the famous Sagaing hills covered with pagodas
and temples. Lunch at local restaurant in Sagaing. Proceed
to Mandalay : the Mahamuni pagoda (Buddha statue coated
with layers of gold leaf), and local handicrafts industries.
Dinner and o/n at hotel in Mandalay.

4
|
Pindaya-Kalaw |
| |
ABF. Trsf to apt and flight to Heho, in the Shan State,
also known as the Switzerland of Myanmar for the beautiful
mountains and Lakes. Departure by road to Pindaya. Lunch
at local restaurant. Visit of the famous caves of Pindaya,
at shwe u - min pagoda hill (nearly 9.000 Buddha statues,
in every dimension, style and materials, together with
stalagmites and stalactites) And surroundings. Proceed
to the beautiful hill station of Kalaw, (1.320 m high).
Dinner , o/n at htl in Kalaw.

Inle
lake |
| |
ABF. Drive to Inle Lake through a panoramic road. Accommodation
and lunch at htl. Afternoon h/d s/s tour by boat of
Inle Lake, magical place populated by the Inthas. Fishermen
stroll their long narrow boats with a unique leg rowing
motion, in silence and tranquility while the Lake is
surrounded by mist-shrouded mountains. Visit the floating
gardens and markets, visit Phaung Daw Oo pagoda and
Ngaphechaung monastery, also famous for the jumping
cats. Dinner and o/n at htl.

Yagon |
| |
Trsf to Heho apt . Flight to Yangon. Transfer and lunch
at htl restaurant. H/d tour of Yangon including : the
reclining Buddha (70 meters long) at Chaukhtatgyi pagoda,
Kandawgyi Lake, and Shwedagon pagoda. Dinner at local
restaurant. O/n in Yangon.
