After breakfast you
will travel 280 km by car, with a few stops along the
way. At Serian town, for refreshment and last minute
shopping, such as insect repellent or gifts for the
Ibans. You can also visit a fascinating native fruit
and vegetable market. 2nd stop includes a visit to
the pepper farm and a stop at a place where you can
observe plenty of wild orchids and also pitcher plants,

at Lemanak or Skrang river. Here you will board native
longboats, and travel by boat (45 min.) further up
the beautiful river to arrive at Iban Longhouse. Upon
arrival the natives of the Iban tribe of the longhouse
will welcome you. You will be able to experience the
native’s daily activities. The dinner will be
provided by your guide, which will surprise you with
delicious dishes. After dinner the Iban woman will
display their handicrafts for sale. As a tourist, you
do not have to feel obliged to buy. During the evening
the Iban will perform war dances and will ask you to
join them to test their rice wine. Don’t be shy
