Start the
tour with a visit to Fort Rotterdam which also houses
the La Galigo Museum. This Museum consists of two buildings,
one housing ethnology, the other history. Then continue
to "Clara Bundts" to see their famous collection
of sea shells and orchids. Tour continue with a visit
to the old harbour of Ujung Pandang, "Paotere" which
home to the handsome and world famous "Pinisi" or
Bugis schooners. Finally before returning to the hotel,
we visit "Sutra Alam", where we can see the
weaving of traditional Bugis Silk.

Batimurung

Natimurung is located 41km
north-east of Ujung Pandang in a steep limestone valley
and is famous for its colorful butterflies. After a
picnic lunch, we continue with a visit to Leang-Leang,
also
known as the "Pattea Cave" where you will
see prehistoric hand prints and cave paintings.

of Ujung Pandang to Malino, a cool mountain resort, once
the favorite weekend retreat for the colonial Dutch.
We will visit the spectacular Takapala Waterfall, which
is set amongst the beauty of the rice paddies. Lunch
will be served in Malino, on the return trip to Ujung
Pandang we will visit the tomb of Sultan Hasanuddin and
other tombs of the former Kings of Gowa as well as the
Balla Lompoa Museum.

Minahasa

Minahasa
Highland, the hinteland of Manado, is extremely mountainous.
The
upland hills are covered with clove trees, vanilla,
rice fields and other crops. This tour will visit some
beautiful
places of Minahasa. Tinoor, is the first stop made
where you can admire the beautiful view of Manado city
and
its sorroundings from 500m above the sea level. Tomohon,
a beautiful flowers city lies between two active volcanoes
with its "Bukit Inspirasi" means "Inspiration
Hill" which is used by the Christian churches gather
for meeting or conferences. Linow changing color lake
at Lahendong village, Pulutan, a traditional pottery
making village, tand then to the beautiful lake Tondano.
After lunch at the local Minahasa's restaurant, continued
to Tondano city, the capital of Minahasa regency then
to Sawangan village, it is the largest collections of
an ancient sarcophagus or "Waruga". Dating
from as early as the 9th century, the Waruga are rectangular
stone burials of ancient Minahasa's tribes.

of coconut turned to Copra, Oil or flour at Sukur village
and how the meat of nutmeg is processed to become sweet

with a flat reef to about 3 m (10 ft) deep, then slopes

reserve tour, the entire tip of penisunsula the north
and east of Manado is covered with lush, tropical rainforest
which have been declared a nature reserva. The Tangkoko
and Dua Saudara, it is only 60 km from Manado, encompasses
9,000 ha ranging from sea level up to 1.000 mt. This
is a spectacular area which offers you the possibility
to see not only unique animals such as monkeys, birds,
tarcius spectrum (claimed to be smallest monkey in the
world), butterflies and tropical plants, but also a wealth
of coral and fish. This tour begins early in the morning
